About Tai Chi

Professor Cheng Man Ching Yang Cheng-Fu had one student by the name of Cheng Man-Ch'ing (1900-1975) who became the greatest master of his time. With his master's permission, he simplified the Yang Style from 108 to 37 postures and made it the most popular of all the forms practiced today. The distinguished essence of Professor Cheng's teachings were noted as to strengthen the legs and soften the body; to maintain the equilibrium and increase the sensitivity; to cultivate the mind and seek the Tao.
